Reconstitution calculator

Enter vial amount, solution volume, and dose to calculate concentration and syringe volume.

Source-example presets illustrate arithmetic, not recommended doses. Prices are editable examples. Blend results represent total blend mass.

Enter the amount provided by your clinician or study.
Calculation assumptions

Concentration = mass ÷ final volume. Volume = dose ÷ concentration. U-100 syringe units = volume × 100; these are volume markings, not international units of peptide potency. Verify final volume and preparation instructions independently.

Common presets

Source-reported arithmetic examples, not preparation or dosing recommendations. BAC water compatibility must be confirmed for each formulation. Select a row to load its values above.

CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin assumes 5 mg of each component: 0.4 mg total equals 0.2 mg each. KLOW uses total blend mass. Fractional units are arithmetic results, not a guarantee of syringe precision.

What you need

Product instructions

Confirm the formulation, vial strength, prescribed amount, and manufacturer’s preparation directions.

Specified diluent

BAC WATER means bacteriostatic water. Use it only when the product instructions allow it; sterile water and saline are not automatic substitutes.

Measuring equipment

Use sterile, single-use needles and syringes appropriate to the prescribed preparation and volume. This calculator’s scale is U-100.

Clean preparation area

Have hand-hygiene supplies, alcohol prep pads, a label, and a sharps container ready.

Why BAC water?

It contains benzyl alcohol as a preservative. It does not establish compatibility or a universal shelf life for a mixed drug.

Storage

Follow the product-specific temperature and discard instructions. Do not apply a blanket four-week lifespan to reconstituted products.

Syringe math

Mass ÷ final volume = concentration. Dose ÷ concentration = volume. On a U-100 syringe, 0.1 mL corresponds to 10 units.

Step by step

A preparation checklist to use alongside your pharmacist’s or manufacturer’s instructions.

  1. Verify the product

Check identity, strength, expiry, and seal. Confirm the required diluent and final concentration before starting.

  2. Prepare the area

Clean your hands and workspace. Disinfect vial stoppers with alcohol and allow them to dry.

  3. Measure the specified diluent

Use fresh sterile equipment. Follow the product’s exact volume and transfer instructions; the calculator does not choose the preparation method.

  4. Follow the mixing instructions

Use the product’s stated mixing technique and inspection criteria. Stop and ask a pharmacist if the appearance is unexpected or dissolution is incomplete.

  5. Check the calculation

Confirm mg versus mcg, final concentration, and syringe scale. Have a pharmacist verify the volume and that it is measurable with your device.

  6. Label, store, and dispose

Record preparation date, concentration, and the assigned discard time. Follow specified storage conditions and put used sharps directly into a sharps container.

Supplies

Bacteriostatic water

Confirm the exact diluent with a pharmacist, including suitability for the intended product and route.

Sterile syringes and needles

Check capacity and graduations. Use a new sterile needle and syringe for every vial entry; never reuse or share.

Alcohol prep pads

Keep individually packaged pads available for vial-stopper disinfection.

Sharps container and labels

Keep disposal within reach and label prepared products clearly to avoid mix-ups.
